Like years past, we will only accept 150 applications to compete. Those 150 that are selected will compete in Slack on May 10th during the Redding Rodeo Steak Feed Kick off. You must be able to ride on May 10th in order to be eligible to participate in one of four Redding Rodeo performances on May 14 - 17th. After slack, we will randomly draw 12 names for each night of the Redding Rodeo performances (48 total kids). If you are selected to ride in a performance, you must be available on the day you are assigned to the rodeo performance.
Children must be between the ages of 5 and 7 in May of 2025. The weight limit is 60 lbs.
